Glendive Medical Center is seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our Urgent Care team. This provider will deliver high-quality care to patients with acute illnesses and injuries while collaborating with the hospitalist physician to ensure safe and effective treatment.

Assess, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages, from neonates to geriatric patients.

Obtain medical histories, perform physical examinations, and develop treatment plans.

Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests, including lab work, x-rays, and EKGs.

Perform approved procedures within scope of practice and medical staff privileges.

Prescribe medications in accordance with Montana regulations and organizational policies.

Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and follow-up care.

Consult with supervising physicians as needed to support quality patient care.

Maintain timely and accurate patient documentation.

Maintain certifications required for urgent care and emergency care practice.

Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.

Current Montana licensure (or eligible for licensure).

National certification and state accreditation required.

Ongoing continuing education and maintenance of licensure.

Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.

Ability to care for patients across the lifespan.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Prolonged standing, walking, and movement.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Frequent exposure to bloodborne pathogens, chemicals, and bodily fluids.
