Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, or residential spaces including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
- Care for floors by sweeping, scrubbing, waxing, or polishing to maintain their appearance and safety
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and cleaning products to ensure readiness for guests or residents
- Handle laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing items
- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety protocols to ensure compliance with health standards
- Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to management for quick resolution
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and friendliness when interacting with guests or residents to enhance their experience
Requirements
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality environments such as hotels or residential facilities
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including sweeping, mopping, waxing, and polishing surfaces
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and cleaning agents
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Previous experience in housekeeping management is a plus but not required
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as bending, lifting, and reaching
