Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Physical therapy aide to join our healthcare team. This role is essential in supporting the rehabilitation process for patients recovering from injuries or surgeries. As a Physical therapy aide, you will work closely with physical therapists and other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest quality of patient care in our Jupiter office.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain rehabilitation equipment and treatment areas.
- Monitor patient progress and report any changes to the supervising therapist.
- Educate patients about exercises and rehabilitation techniques.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients during therapy sessions.
- Support patients in performing exercises, ensuring proper techniques are followed.
- Maintain knowledge of medical terminology related to rehabilitation practices.
Skills
- Excellent patient service skills, fostering a compassionate environment for recovery.
- Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to rehabilitation and hospital medicine.
- Experience in orthopedics or inpatient care settings is advantageous.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently within a clinical setting.

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
