You'll work directly with our Chief Financial Officer, partnering on everything from monthly financial reporting and forecasting to acquisition modeling, financial integration, and strategic planning. If you enjoy solving complex financial puzzles and helping leadership make better decisions, you'll fit right in.
What You'll OwnFinancial Reporting & Accounting
- Prepare accurate monthly financial statements and support month-end and year-end close activities
- Analyze financial results and explain budget-to-actual, forecast-to-actual, and period-over-period variances
Financial Planning & Analysis
- Build and maintain financial models that support revenue, staffing, operating expenses, capital investments, working capital, and cash flow
- Develop annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and long-range financial plans alongside company leadership
- Develop executive dashboards, KPI reporting, and financial presentations that tell the story behind the numbers
Mergers & Acquisitions
- Build acquisition models evaluating purchase price, financing options, integration costs, and projected returns
- Support financial due diligence by analyzing historical financial statements, working capital, cash flow, debt, revenue trends, and operational risks
- Prepare pro forma combined financial statements and assist with purchase accounting activities
- Help leadership evaluate acquisition opportunities using sound financial analysis and modeling
Accounting Integration & Process Improvement
- Support the accounting integration of newly acquired companies into CivilOne's financial systems and reporting structure
- Coordinate financial data migrations, reconciliations, reporting calendars, and internal controls
- Collaborate with Accounting, Operations, HR, IT, and acquired teams to ensure smooth transitions
- Look for opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency
What You Bring
- 5+ years of accounting, financial reporting, FP&A, or financial analysis experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with experience building financial models and analyzing complex data
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, cash flow analysis, and executive reporting
- Ability to communicate financial concepts clearly to both financial and non-financial leaders
- Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, or post-acquisition integration is highly valued
