We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Senior In-Home Caregiver to provide exceptional support and personalized care to individuals in their homes. This vital role involves assisting clients with daily activities, monitoring health and safety, and creating a nurturing environment that promotes independence and well-being. Duties
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients through meaningful conversation and social interaction.
- Prepare nutritious meals aligned with dietary restrictions and preferences, ensuring proper food safety and sanitation standards.
- Provide medication reminders.
- Support clients with cognitive impairments such as dementia or Alzheimer’s by implementing memory care strategies and engaging in meaningful activities.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and organizing living spaces.
- Document patient observations and communicate effectively with office staff.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with individuals with dementia and Alzheimer's.
- Experience in home & community care environments or long-term care settings is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining excellent communication skills for effective teamwork.
