Part-Time Educational Therapist
Zeta Educational Therapy Inc and LINKS – A Neurodiverse School is seeking a compassionate, knowledgeable, and engaging Educational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team. We specialize in serving neurodiverse learners, including students with autism, ADHD, dyslexia, executive functioning challenges, anxiety, and other learning differences in a supportive, relationship-based environment.
This position is ideal for an Educational Therapist who is passionate about individualized instruction, collaborating with educators and families, and helping students build confidence while achieving meaningful academic growth.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one educational therapy services for students in grades K–12.
- Develop individualized intervention plans based on each student’s strengths and areas of need.
- Implement evidence-based interventions in reading, writing, math, executive functioning, organization, and study skills.
- Support students with learning differences including dyslexia, ADHD, autism, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, and executive functioning challenges.
- Maintain session notes and document student progress.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, BCBAs, and families.
- Participate in team meetings as needed.
- Create a positive, motivating, and supportive learning environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required in Education, Special Education, Psychology, Child Development, or a related field.
- Educational Therapist certification (AET or equivalent) preferred but not required.
- Experience working with neurodiverse learners.
- Knowledge of evidence-based reading interventions and executive functioning strategies.
- Experience with IEP goals, benchmarks, and assessments
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Reliable, organized, and professional.
Preferred Experience
- Lindamood-Bell and/or Orton-Gillingham or structured literacy training.
- Experience with ADHD, autism, dyslexia, and executive functioning interventions.
- Familiarity with Social Thinking®, PBIS, or similar approaches.
- Experience in private practice or specialized schools is a plus.
Schedule
- Flexible after-school and daytime hours available.
