We are currently hiring Sports Bar Servers. This role anticipates guest needs, delivers beverage service efficiently, and contributes to a fun, energetic environment. The Sports Bar Server maintains clean, well-organized service areas and ensures compliance with Health Department sanitation standards. Location: The Nash Casino - 310 Daniel Webster Highway - Nashua, NH
Hours: Full-time/Part-time: Variable Open Hours (1st shift/swing shift/late-night shift) with variable weekends and holiday's required
Job Responsibilities
- Efficiently and accurately take and deliver beverage orders in a timely, friendly manner.
- Interact enthusiastically with guests while taking orders, including appropriate upselling.
- Proactively anticipate guest needs and create memorable service moments.
- Track gaming guests as they move throughout the floor to ensure timely beverage delivery and exceptional service.
- Provide cocktail service, bus tables as needed, and maintain a clean, visually appealing service environment.
- Set up the service station at the beginning of the shift and complete all closing duties according to company standards.
- Maintain inventory of garnishes, glassware, beverages, ice, and other service‑well supplies throughout the shift.
- Maintain knowledge of domestic and imported beer, wine varieties, spirits, non‑alcoholic beverages, and their terminology.
- Demonstrate understanding of glassware types, drink ingredients, basic preparation methods, and garnishing standards.
- Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Assist with training and mentoring new Team Members when requested.
- Maintain compliance with company policies, gaming regulations, alcohol service laws, and industry standards.
- Perform other job‑related duties as assigned.
Education and Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Must successfully pass all required pre‑screening and background checks.
- Internal candidates must meet eligibility requirements under the Transfer & Promotion Policy.
Physical/Mental Working Demands
- Ability to move throughout the bar and gaming floor for the duration of the shift.
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and perform repetitive movements.
- Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, balance, and work in a bar or service‑well environment.
- Ability to tolerate temperature changes and frequent immersion of hands in water, cleaning agents, and sanitizing solutions.
- Ability to communicate clearly with guests, coworkers, and supervisors in person and over the phone.
- Ability to read and interpret information on POS terminals and computer screens.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. and respond to visual and auditory cues.
- Work environment may include exposure to loud noise, guest chatter, overhead music, live entertainment, and areas where smoking is permitted.
- Manual dexterity required to operate POS systems, glasswashers, liquor dispensing systems, and bar tools.
- Requires hand–eye coordination and the ability to distinguish letters, numbers, and symbols.
