Compensation for this role is dependent on experience and certifications, ranging from $15 to $35 an hour plus 3 to 5% commission. We are looking for an experienced HVAC Technician to service commercial and residential systems across the OKC Metro area. Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, inspect, operate, and repair HVAC systems in both residential and commercial buildings.
- Respond promptly to dispatched service calls to diagnose and resolve heating, cooling, and ventilation issues.
- Complete full HVAC system installations for new construction and property rehabilitation projects.
- Strictly follow current Oklahoma HVAC codes and regulations to ensure all work passes inspection the first time.
- Evaluate systems and provide honest, clear communication to customers regarding repair options, maintenance packages, and pricing.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance to extend the lifespan of customer equipment.
Required Qualifications
- Active Oklahoma Mechanical Journeyman License.
- EPA Section 608 Certification (Universal preferred) for the safe handling of refrigerants.
- 2+ years of verified technical and trade experience in HVAC maintenance and repair.
- Deep understanding of current HVAC regulations, building codes, and industry safety benchmarks.
- Valid Oklahoma Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or collaborate alongside our team.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills to deliver highly professional customer service.
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions
- Safely lift, carry, push, and pull heavy equipment, tools, and materials weighing 50 pounds or more.
- Maintain physical stamina to stand, kneel, crouch, crawl, and bend for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Work comfortably in cramped and confined spaces, including attics, basements, and crawlspaces.
- Safely climb and work from ladders at varying heights.
- Work safely in diverse environments, which includes exposure to extreme indoor and outdoor weather conditions and temperatures.
- Safely operate company vehicles to navigate to multiple job sites across the service area.
Pay: $15.00 - $35.00 per hour
