Job Summary and Responsibilities
As an Educator, you will be a vital contributor to the planning, coordination, and delivery of essential healthcare-related educational and training programs.
Every day, you will actively assist in scheduling and conducting diverse healthcare training programs. You will also provide direct coordination and/or instruction in various educational initiatives, ensuring effective learning experiences for all participants.
To be successful in this role, you will combine strong organizational and presentation skills with a deep understanding of healthcare education, a passion for teaching, and the ability to effectively engage and train diverse groups of healthcare professionals and staff.

Applies adult learning principles and learning theory in the development and implementation of training programs for specific target populations.

Demonstrates ethical and legal considerations in pro-gram design appropriate to hospital philosophy and standards.

Assesses target populations for learning styles and needs, using a tool when developing learning activities-ties. Advertises educational programs 6 weeks in advance of program date using brochures and fliers in compliance with regulatory and Marian Medical Center graphic standards.

Constructs evaluation material appropriate to instructional-instructional design and target population to ensure competency-competency measurement.

Attends and participates in departmental activities including monthly staff meetings.
