Requirements
- Past thorough background check
- Civilian or military law enforcement/security experience preferred
- A citizen of the United States or its territories
- At least 21 years of age at the time of application for employment
- Speak, read, write, and understand English
- Drug-free and remain drug-free for the duration of the contract
- High school graduate or possess a Graduate Equivalency Degree (GED)
- Possess and maintain a valid driver's license
Job Description
We are seeking security personnel to work within a Military installation. Responsibilities include deterring, detecting, and detaining individuals who attempt to access the installation, using necessary force when required unlawfully. Security personnel will also be responsible for identifying and detaining individuals suspected of offenses such as drunk driving, illegal drug transport, and possession of explosives or weapons. Apprehended individuals will be held until transferred to law enforcement authorities. All security personnel will undergo comprehensive training and evaluation to ensure proficiency in accordance with installation operating procedures provided by the client.
Physical requirements
Contract Security Employees are expected to be physically able to perform the following functions in the performance of their assigned duties, i.e., frequent and prolonged walking, standing, sitting, stooping, climbing, crawling, jumping, occasional running or sprinting, and subduing and detaining violent or potentially violent individuals.
Duties
Security personnel shall provide courteous and timely service while maintaining control of all personnel and vehicles entering the installation in accordance with the local installation plans and policies (provided upon Contract award). When required, the Contractor will also control all personnel and vehicles departing the installation in accordance with local installation plans and policies. Access control requirements will vary according to Force Protection Conditions (FPCON).
The Contractor will be required to provide the following services:
Perform checks of individual identification
Perform inspections of vehicles
Process visitors/contractors at the Access Control Point IAW local policies
Direct traffic at gates
Perform emergency procedures for gate closure
Perform Alternate Security Forces duties for a limited time when necessary
Participate in security flight-level exercises
Complete and maintain all associated forms/checklists associated with performing installation access control
Utilize Defense Biometric Identification System (DBIDS)
