Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Leader to oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient distribution, inventory control, and team management. This role is vital in maintaining smooth logistics workflows, implementing process improvements, and upholding safety standards. The job consists of pulling orders, keeping up with inventory, keeping warehouse clean, and local deliveries. Must be nicely dressed, positive attitude, easy to get along with and happy to serve our customers.
Duties
- Lead and supervise warehouse staff to ensure productivity, safety, and adherence to company policies.
- Oversee inventory management processes, including stock accuracy, cycle counts, and inventory control systems.
- Coordinate warehouse distribution activities, including shipping and receiving operations.
- Implement process improvements to optimize workflow efficiency and reduce costs.
- Operate forklifts and materials handling equipment safely for heavy lifting and stock movement.
Experience
- Proven experience in warehouse supervision or leadership roles within a distribution or logistics environment.
- Hands-on experience with forklift operation and heavy lifting. Must be able to lift 50 pounds easily.
- Knowledge of shipping & receiving processes.
- MUST HAVE A CLEAN DRIVING RECORD
