Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, and communicate effectively with kitchen staff
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Serve food and drinks efficiently, ensuring proper presentation and adherence to sanitation standards
- Manage guest inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and foster positive guest relations to encourage repeat visits
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while maintaining accountability for all sales
- Assist with food preparation tasks when needed, including bussing tables and supporting kitchen staff during busy periods
Skills
- Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
- Strong culinary knowledge and food handling expertise in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Proven ability to manage time effectively during high-volume service periods
- Skilled in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities without compromising guest experience
- Knowledge of OpenTable reservation system is a plus
- Familiarity with fine dining standards, sanitation protocols, and food safety regulations
- Previous restaurant or food service experience in a nightclub or hospitality setting preferred
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order calculations
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed in a lively environment
