Milton Town School District seeks a skilled Special Needs Programming Specialist to join our dynamic, fast-paced, student-centered high school-level teams. Qualifications: Bachelors level or ability to effectively demonstrate the required competencies. Experience delivering instruction to students with intensive needs and/or speech and language impairment. Must demonstrate competencies after receiving formal training. Must demonstrate the ability to attain a working knowledge of assistive technology devices and augmentative communication approaches. Ability to work well as a team member and with students in an active, fast-paced setting. The ability and willingness to support students both in the classroom, in the workplace, and in the community is essential.The hours are 6.5 hours per day and 32.5 hours per week.
