Bobcat of Juneau is looking to hire a full time (year round) Experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic with at least 6-10 years of mechanic experience. With a flexible 4/10 (or 5/8) schedule this will give you plenty of time off to explore the outdoors fishing, hunting, hiking and much more that Alaska has to offer!
Must be able to read electrical and hydraulic schematics and have strong troubleshooting skills. Schedule will be a 4/10 schedule which will be either Monday thru Thursday or Tuesday thru Friday (10 hour days). There is also the option to work a 5 day schedule (8 hour days). Overtime will be optional. Base pay is $40-$50/hr DOE.
Minimum requirements:
-Strong computer skills
-Welding experience (stick and MIG)
-Have an extensive set of tools
-Strong attention to detail
-Have a positive attitude
-Strong troubleshooting skill level
-Have a valid drivers license (class A would be a plus)
-Ability to work with minimal supervision
-Be punctual
-Ability to read and write English
-Ability to take direction
-Ability to lift up to 50lbs
-Must put safety first
-Random drug/alcohol tests
-Background check
