Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, and private spaces using appropriate cleaning techniques and supplies
- Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and specialized floor care procedures to ensure safety and aesthetic appeal
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, towels, and amenities to meet guest needs efficiently
- Follow established protocols for sanitation and infection control to promote a healthy environment
- Report maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to ensure swift resolution
- Adhere to hotel policies and safety regulations while handling cleaning equipment and chemicals
- Assist with laundry duties including washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels as needed
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality housekeeping roles with a focus on quality service
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, waxing, and carpet cleaning methods
- Familiarity with hotel or hospitality industry standards for cleanliness and guest service
- Strong understanding of custodial practices and industrial cleaning procedures
- Ability to manage time effectively to complete daily tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail with a proactive attitude towards maintaining high standards of hygiene
- Experience in housekeeping management or supervising cleaning staff is a plus
