Position Summary
As a Guest Services & Sales Associate, you will be responsible for driving sales, delivering outstanding customer service, and ensuring a welcoming environment for every guest. This role combines hospitality, consultative sales, and operational responsibilities to create a seamless guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Guest Experience
- Greet all guests professionally and warmly.
- Educate guests on Minute Suites services, products, and membership programs.
- Utilize a consultative sales approach to recommend services that best meet guest needs.
- Conduct guest check-ins and check-outs using company systems and procedures.
- Meet and exceed sales goals, customer service metrics, and quality standards.
- Promote retail merchandise and additional services through suggestive selling.
Operations & Administration
- Maintain accurate reservations, billing, and guest account records.
- Monitor suite inventory and availability through company systems.
- Balance cash drawer and complete end-of-shift reconciliation with zero discrepancies.
- Complete required reports, logs, and operational documentation.
- Communicate important information during shift transitions and maintain accurate logbook entries.
Housekeeping & Facility Standards
- Ensure suites and common areas meet cleanliness and quality standards.
- Restock supplies and maintain inventory levels.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area.
Safety & Compliance
- Follow company policies, procedures, and emergency protocols.
- Report incidents, suspicious activity, or guest concerns to management promptly.
- Protect company assets, including cash, keys, and confidential guest information.
- Participate in all required training programs.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; college coursework preferred.
- Previous experience in hospitality, retail sales, customer service, or airport operations preferred.
- Strong sales aptitude and ability to confidently recommend products and services.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.
- Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and point-of-sale systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 8 hours).
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.
- Valid driver's license required.
