HELP WANTED - SOUTHERN TIER, NY
Long established private company seeks creative and motivated EMPLOYMENT SPECIALIST - Vocational/Educational Specialist to join our team of professionals, to provide vocationally related services for individuals with disabilities (both adults and students). Will assist Clients to pursue educational pathways, conduct assessments, prepare to obtain and maintain employment and internships. Previous case management, job development, educational background, and/or counseling a plus. Successful candidate will possess strong communication skills, talent to think outside-of-the-box, and ability to work independently. Ideal position for retired teacher/educator. Duties include:
- Intake assessments and evaluations
- Job development
- Job placement and retention
- Work readiness training
- Career counseling
- Educational advocacy
- Resume development
- Soft skills training
