Responsibilities
- Clean and disinfect patient rooms, restrooms, hallways, and other hospital areas
- Maintain hospital sanitation and infection prevention standards
- Clean floors, carpets, furniture, fixtures, and patient care equipment
- Remove waste and soiled linens; clean and remake patient beds
- Restock restroom and patient care supplies
- Safely operate cleaning equipment and use approved cleaning chemicals
- Inspect equipment, report maintenance or safety concerns, and maintain clean storage areas
- Support patient room turnover and perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Positive attitude with a professional demeanor
- Ability to safely operate cleaning equipment and follow infection control and safety procedures
- Ability to read and follow written instructions, including chemical and biohazard labels
- Basic math skills for chemical measurements
Schedule:
- Every Saturday and Sunday, plus one 8-hour weekday shift every other week
- Must be flexible to work all shifts:
- 1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
- 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Training:
- Four-week paid training program (40 hours/week)
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
