Grassroots Associate – Political Canvasser for Canvass America
As a canvasser for Canvass America, you will partner with Americans for Prosperity by working to advance limited-government policies and candidates. You will connect with voters through door-to-door conversations, surveys, and community engagement.
Position Overview:
Canvass America is seeking energetic individuals to connect directly with voters through door-to-door canvassing. This role focuses on advancing limited-government, freedom-based policies and candidates by engaging in meaningful, respectful conversations and conducting issue-based surveys in local communities. Training is provided. Some transferable experience is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct voter surveys and engage residents in persuasive conversations to support freedom-oriented policies and candidates.
- Deliver exceptional constituent engagement and foster positive interactions at the door.
- Demonstrate integrity, respect, and civility in all voter and community interactions.
- Stay informed on current political issues, trends, and events.
Requirements:
- Ability to walk 5–7 miles per shift, occasionally in adverse weather conditions.
- Strong interpersonal skills and comfort speaking with strangers.
- Availability to work approximately 18 hours per week.
- Reliable transportation and a smartphone or tablet.
