Box office Director
Job Purpose
Sell tickets to customers with a positive experience. The position also performs a variety of tasks under the direction of the Box Office Director.
Essential Functions
- Money counting***
- Perform ticket sales transactions with customers accurately and efficiently.
- Ability to Sell tickets online and operate a computer in a fast paced environment
- Report any issues directly to Box Office Director
- All other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and managing relationships
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task
- Basic understanding of computer and internet
- Ability to work independently or as a team
- Flexibility to work days, evenings, and weekends
- Ability to understand directions written or verbally.
- Have a valid Texas Class C driver’s license
Working Conditions
This job is performed primarily in a box office environment evenings and weekends. We are primarily hiring for the Central Texas State Fair www.centraltexasstatefair.com.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Occasionally lift up to 15 pounds at times
- May require standing for periods of time
Qualifications
- Driver's License
- Must be 18
