Graphic Designer
Pay: $17.00 – $20.00 per hour Job Type: Full-time, in-person
About us We design and produce custom-branded windscreens, banners, and privacy screens for sports facilities and schools nationwide — turning chain-link fences and bland perimeters into branded statements for high school, college, and pro programs. Our work shows up on fields and courts across the country.
The role We're looking for a Graphic Designer who's comfortable working at the intersection of design and production. You'll handle small-to-medium design projects that come in through our inbox — banners, signage, logo layouts, and quick-turn client requests — and you'll also prepare design files for grand-format print production.
We'll train you on our specific production workflows, RIP software, and substrate specs. What we need from you is the foundation: strong Illustrator and Photoshop skills, a working understanding of how print files differ from screen files, and the kind of detail-oriented mindset that catches problems before they become expensive mistakes.
If you enjoy designing and you're the type who actually wants to understand what happens after you hit export, this role will suit you.
What you'll do
- Design banners, windscreens, signage, and branded graphics from client briefs
- Handle inbox-driven design requests — small projects, revisions, and quick turnarounds
- Adapt existing brand assets and templates to new applications
- Prepare production-ready files for grand-format print output (we'll train you on the specifics)
- Check your own files for bleeds, resolution, color accuracy, and linked assets before handing off
- Collaborate with the creative team and production to make sure designs translate cleanly to print
- Maintain organized file structures on shared drives
What you'll bring
- At least 1 year of hands-on experience with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
- A solid design eye — layout, typography, color, and composition
- Working knowledge of print fundamentals: CMYK vs RGB, DPI/resolution, vector vs raster, bleeds
- Comfort with common file types (AI, EPS, PDF, PNG, TIF, JPG) and when to use which
- Strong attention to detail — especially with specs and file integrity
- Ability to interpret a short client email and deliver a clean, on-brand design without a lot of back-and-forth
- Ability to juggle multiple projects on tight deadlines
- Willingness to learn the production side of the business
Bonus points for
- Sign shop or grand-format print experience
- Familiarity with pressure-sensitive vinyls and substrates (MDO, Dibond, Coro, etc.)
- Experience with RIP software or prepress workflows
- InDesign experience
Schedule Full-time, Monday–Friday. Occasional extended hours or weekend work during peak production periods.
