SUMMARY:
To perform in a pleasant, professional and efficient manner, a combination of duties mainly related, but not limited, to check-in and check-out of guests which contributes to an overall positive experience.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Registers and assigns rooms to guests, issues room key and escort instructions to direct guest as appropriate.

Date-stamps, sorts and racks incoming mail and messages.

Completes all Hotel Brand and Company mandated training in a timely manner.

Completes all documentation required for each shift worked in appropriate manner.

Complete all cleaning tasks as assigned.

Transmits and receives messages using equipment such as telephone, fax and switchboard.
- Answers inquiries pertaining to hotel services, shopping, dining, entertainment and travel directions. Keeps records of room availability and guests' accounts.
- Computes bill, collects payment and makes change for guests.
- Make, confirm, modify, and cancel reservations for guests per hotel policies.
- Sell candy, food, and sundries, etc.

Perform all laundry functions as needed.

Post charges such as room or food by hand or machine.
- Make restaurant, transportation or entertainment reservations per guest’s request.

Assists in other departments if necessary and as directed by the management.

Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor and senior management.
