Position Overview:
We are seeking a friendly, professional, and service-focused Guest Service Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring an exceptional arrival and departure experience while delivering outstanding service and assistance throughout their stay.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome guests with warm and genuine hospitality, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Check guests in and out efficiently following hotel standards.
- Process reservations, cancellations, and special requests accurately.
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries, complaints, and requests, resolving issues professionally.
- Communicate effectively with all departments to ensure guest satisfaction and smooth operations.
- Handle guest payments, balance cash drawers, and post charges accurately.
- Promote hotel services, amenities, and local attractions to enhance the guest experience.
- Maintain a neat and organized front desk area at all times.
- Follow all safety, security, and company policies.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; hospitality or customer service experience preferred.
- Must be fully bilingual (English and Spanish)
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in computer systems and reservation software (experience Property Management software is a plus).
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
