We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of massage techniques, including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management strategies tailored to individual client needs.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans based on client health history and specific concerns.
- Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to effectively address musculoskeletal issues and promote relaxation.
- Maintain accurate records of client sessions, including treatment details and progress notes using medical terminology.
- Provide excellent customer service by creating a welcoming environment for clients and ensuring their comfort during sessions.
- Educate clients on self-care techniques, stretching exercises, and wellness practices to enhance their overall health.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed to support comprehensive patient care in occupational health settings.
Requirements
- Valid state license in massage therapy.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to massage therapy practices.
- Experience in pain management techniques and occupational health is preferred but not mandatory.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients about their needs and treatment options.
- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with massage therapy while maintaining professionalism and empathy towards clients.
