Michelson's Shoes is a full-service family shoe store, offering footwear and accessories for every member of the family. We have a reputation of being the premier source for properly fit children's and adult footwear, specializing in providing comfortable footwear for all seasons.
Our footwear selection includes walking, athletic, dress, career, casual, orthopedic, slippers, and boots. We carry an extensive inventory of name-brand footwear which we stock in a wide range of sizes and widths, and our sales team provides a full-service customer-centered shopping experience.
Your success in this role will be measured through your ability to provide a great in-store experience for every customer.
Job Responsibilities
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by being knowledgeable on all products offered, and providing a proper measurement of each customer's feet.
- Connect with every customer by asking open-ended questions to assess needs
- Make recommendations of products to fit customer’s needs and team up with co-workers to provide excellent sales service
- Bring the ability to learn and share expertise of products and trends to fit customer’s needs
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Initiate completion of tasks or activities without unnecessary supervision

- We pay a competitive hourly salary;-starting at 24 dollars per hour with a premium for experience with brands we carry or for extensive shoe fitting experience
- In addition, we pay bonuses for achieving weekly team sales goals
- no pressure of commission
- We have a set 5-day work schedule; you have the same work hours (9am-6pm) and day-off every week (Saturday work required). We do not open Sundays
