Duties
- Perform electrical diagnostics on watches to identify issues with circuits or electronic components
- Disassemble, clean, repair, and reassemble watches with precision and care
- Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and detailed instructions to guide repairs
- Use tools such as ohmmeters and other testing equipment to troubleshoot mechanical and electronic faults
- Conduct maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) tasks on various watch models, including heavy equipment mechanics when applicable
- Ensure all repairs meet quality standards by thoroughly testing timepieces before returning them to customers
- Maintain detailed records of repairs, diagnostics, and parts used for each watch
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in repairing intricate devices like watches or similar small machinery
- Proficiency in electrical diagnostics and interpreting schematics or technical drawings
- Familiarity with heavy equipment mechanics is a plus but not required
- Technical proficiency with tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic instruments
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams accurately
- Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity for handling delicate components
- Prior experience in maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) or related fields is preferred
