Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and creative Freelance Videographer/Editor to bring visual stories to life through compelling video content. This role offers the flexibility to work on diverse projects, from conceptual filming to polished post-production edits. Duties
- Plan, organize, and execute filming sessions using professional video recording equipment and lighting setups to ensure optimal visual quality.
- Operate cameras, microphones, and other media production tools to capture clear audio and stunning visuals during shoots.
- Manage all aspects of post-production editing using media editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and Adobe After Effects to craft seamless narratives.
- Enhance footage through color correction, sound editing, visual effects, and motion graphics to elevate the overall production value.
- Coordinate with clients or creative teams to understand project goals, deliver on deadlines, and incorporate feedback effectively.
- Maintain detailed records of footage, project files, and editing workflows for efficient project management.
- Stay updated on the latest videography techniques, software updates, and industry trends to continually improve skills and output quality.
Experience
- Proven experience in videography and video editing with a strong portfolio demonstrating diverse projects across different styles and formats.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite including Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Lightroom.
- Familiarity with Final Cut Pro or similar editing software is highly desirable.
- Hands-on experience with camera setup, lighting for video production, sound recording for video production, and media processing techniques.
- Knowledge of photography principles and visual storytelling methods that effectively communicate messages through video content.
- Ability to operate various video recording equipment confidently and troubleshoot technical issues during shoots.
- Strong understanding of post-production workflows from footage ingestion to final delivery ensuring high-quality outputs.
