Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and RF scanners to move and organize inventory efficiently and safely.
- Assist with order fulfillment by picking, packing, and preparing products for shipment using warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP systems like AS400.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper handling of goods in accordance with trade compliance and international trade regulations.
- Manage shipping logistics by preparing accurate documentation for outbound shipments and coordinating with carriers to ensure timely delivery.
- Stock shelves and organize inventory using MRP (Material Requirements Planning) tools to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies to uphold stock accuracy.
- Support packaging operations for e-commerce orders, ensuring products are securely packed for transit.
- Follow safety protocols during all warehouse activities to prevent accidents and promote a secure working environment.
Skills
- Proven experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and RF scanners in a warehouse setting.
- Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems like AS400, and inventory control processes.
- Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures, including documentation standards for international trade compliance.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for order picking and inventory management.
- Familiarity with order picker equipment and packaging techniques suitable for e-commerce fulfillment.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in stocking, order fulfillment, and load/unload activities.
- Basic understanding of trade regulations related to international shipments is a plus.
