Job Summary
We are seeking two associate MFTs/PCCs/CSWs to join Growing Sideways Counseling. The positions are either fully remote or hybrid based in Tustin, with the opportunity to be in other cities and counties in California. We are asking for therapists who can consistently work 20 hours a week, but those who can work 10-15 hours are also considered. The practice will also be willing to pay hourly for assistance with graphic design, website upkeep, marketing, and social media to associates who are skilled in those areas!
Benefits and Pay
- Clinical hours will be paid at a rate of $40-60 per client hour, based on experience
- Clinical pay will increase as hours towards licensure are accrued
- Administrative hours will be paid at $25 per hour- this includes supervision and up to three hours of time for completing notes, treatment plans, and other paperwork
- $300 will be paid as a health insurance stipend if the associate works 20 client hours consistently
- A $40 technology stipend will be paid per month to assist with cell phone and wi-fi costs
Responsibilities
- Provide individual psychotherapy services to clients via secure telehealth.
- Complete clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation.
- Provide evidence-based, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive treatment.
- Maintain an assigned caseload and meet established productivity expectations.
- Assess client safety and follow established crisis intervention and reporting procedures.
- Maintain appropriate professional boundaries and adhere to ethical and legal standards.
- Participate in individual and/or group clinical supervision as required for associate licensure.
- Attend required team meetings, trainings, and case consultations.
- Complete required administrative tasks related to client care and practice operations.
- Maintain a private, professional, and confidential environment when providing remote services.
- Communicate promptly with clients and practice staff regarding scheduling and continuity of care.
- Maintain reliable internet access and appropriate technology for telehealth services.
- Follow practice policies, HIPAA requirements, and applicable California laws and regulations governing behavioral health services.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or a related field
- Knowledge of psychotherapeutic techniques
- Familiarity with clinical documentation standards
- Understanding of trauma-informed care principles and crisis intervention protocols.
- Experience with telehealth therapy platforms and electronic health records (EHR/EHR) systems such as SimplePractice is preferred.
- Ability to adhere to clinical ethical guidelines while providing compassionate patient-centered care across diverse populations.
Pay: $40.00 - $60.00 per hour
