Home Health Aide (HHA)/CNA - Private Pay Position
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Home Health Aide to provide essential, one-on-one care for a sharp and somewhat independent elderly woman in her private home. This is a W-4 Private Pay position (with taxes taken out), not through an agency.
The primary purpose of this position is to keep the client safe and healthy in her home.
Shift Schedule & Compensation
- Shift Length: 12 hours
- Hours: 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM or 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM(Set schedule based on agreement)
- Employment Type: Part-Time with potential for Full-Time as availability changes or other caregivers take time off.
- Relocation Assistance: Not Provided
Key Responsibilities
- Safety & Mobility: Hands-on ambulation assistance with the use of a gait belt for toileting, showering, walking and transferring. Client is a fall risk.
- Aquatic Therapy: Must be willing to go into the therapy pool with the client for monitoring and assistance.
- Homemaking: Cooking, light cleaning, and general household upkeep.
- Personal Care: Medication reminders and assistance with toileting.
- Transportation/Errands: Running errands and accompanying the client to appointments as needed.
- Household Management: Taking care of household deliveries.
- Heavy Lifting: May occasionally involve heavy lifting.
Environment & Special Requirements
- Pet Care: Must be comfortable with and assist with the care of two German Shepherds in the home.
- COVID-19 Policy: MUST BE VACCINATED (Booster not required at this time). A mask is required while in the home (provided).
Required Qualifications
- Experience: Caregiving experience is required.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- License: Valid Driver’s License.
- Health: Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination.
Desired Qualifications (A Plus)
- CPR knowledge.
- Open to students currently involved in a CNA or Nursing program.
- A good fit for applicants with gaps in their resume or who have been out of the workforce for 6+ months.
Job Types: Part-time, PRN
