Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other mechanical tools to load, unload, and move materials safely and efficiently
- Use RF scanners and warehouse management systems to pick, pack, and process orders accurately
- Perform order picking tasks with precision to meet shipping deadlines
- Handle materials with care during stocking, inventory management, and quality control checks
- Assist in shipping and receiving functions by verifying incoming shipments and preparing outgoing orders
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace by properly storing stock and managing inventory levels
- Support warehouse supervisor in daily operations, including load & unload activities and ensuring safety protocols are followed
Requirements
- Prior experience in warehouse distribution or similar environment preferred but not required; training provided
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, RF scanners, pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery safely
- Mechanical knowledge or experience with heavy equipment operation is a plus
- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting, load & unload tasks, and long periods of standing or walking
- Excellent attention to detail for order fulfillment, quality control, and inventory accuracy
- Basic understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) or similar software tools
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment with good communication skills
- Prior experience in shipping & receiving or warehouse supervision is advantageous
