Description of Duties:
-
Pick up the flight schedules for specific airline from dispatch.

Look/collect Final information count to include flight number, type of aircraft, configuration and type of service.

Locate flights and final/pack specific items on the meal carts.

Add/check ice cream, condiments, hot entrée, check special meals, crew, flight completion and temperature taking before finalizing flight.

Identify all discrepancies, inform supervisor and ensure that all missing items are placed on the flight.

Communicate any problems with the flight to dispatch.

Perform additional duties as needed.

Must be able to read, speak and write English

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Accurate, organized, thorough, pays attention to detail

Need to understand and interpret Airline SITA telexes

Strong mathematical skills

Must be able to interact with all levels of employees

Must be able to lift 50 pounds

Must be able to perform duties in refrigerated location

Must be self-directed and be able to work with little supervision

Must be able to work under pressure

Flexible, able to work any shift

Must have a good performance and attendance record
Additional eligibility requirements and details:

This is a Union Position- must be willing to pay union dues after 14 days
- Must be available to work a full-time position, including Weekends and Holidays as needed

Must be able to complete the application/orientation process in English

Ability to lift 25+ pounds occasionally, 50+ pounds frequently & 10+ pounds consistently. Bend / stoop & twist repeatedly & stand for 8 – 12 hours a day
