Responsibilities
- Safely operate a non-CDL box truck to deliver goods across assigned regional routes, ensuring timely arrivals.
- Load and unload cargo using manual handling techniques, pallet jacks, or material handling equipment while following safe lifting practices.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure compliance with DOT regulations and vehicle safety standards.
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws, route schedules, and company policies during all driving activities.
- Assist with warehouse operations by manually handling materials, loading supplies onto the truck, and organizing deliveries efficiently.
- Provide excellent customer service by delivering goods professionally, answering questions, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Use mobile devices or GPS systems for route navigation, tracking deliveries, and communicating with dispatch as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial driving, delivery driving, or courier roles involving box trucks or similar vehicles.
- Strong warehouse experience including manual handling, moving heavy loads, and operating material handling equipment such as pallet jacks.
- Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles and safe lifting practices for heavy items.
- Knowledge of DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations related to weight handling in the workplace and vehicle operation.
- Ability to adhere to traffic regulations consistently while maintaining a focus on safety and efficiency.
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude during deliveries.
- Valid driver’s license suitable for operating a non-CDL box truck; experience with route driving preferred.

Pay: $5,117.08 - $6,162.51 per month
