Registered Nurse (RN) – Long-Term Care (Travel Assignment)
Location: Seward, Alaska
Position Overview:
Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in a Long-Term Care facility in Alaska. Candidates must have previous travel experience and hold an active Alaska RN license.
Assignment Details:
- Shift Options: 4x12 Variable or 3x12 Variable (Traveler's Choice)
- Day or Night shifts based on facility needs
- Contract Length: 13 or 26 weeks
- Patient Ratio: 1:20
- Minimum 1 year of Long-Term Care experience required
- First-time travelers not accepted
Required Qualifications:
- Active Alaska Registered Nurse (RN) License
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Previous Travel Experience
- Long-Term Care Experience
Additional Requirements:
- Candidate's permanent residence must be at least 50 miles from the facility
- Maximum of 2 weeks of requested time off for a 26-week assignment
- Must be willing to work at least 2 of the 3 major winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's)
- All requested time off must be submitted with the application
- Guaranteed 60 hours per 2-week pay period
