Four Pointes Center for Successful Aging is seeking a caring, dependable Direct Care Worker to support older adults through routine household assistance and companionship. This position helps clients maintain an adequate, safe, and healthy living environment while providing respectful support in their homes.
This is a flexible, part-time day shift position with paid time off, six paid holidays, no weekends, no on-call or mandatory shifts, and no lifting beyond the stated physical requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Direct Care Workers assist clients with routine household tasks and companionship, including:
Light housekeeping tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, cleaning bathrooms and kitchens, making beds, laundry services, and helping maintain a safe and healthy living environment.
Shopping for necessities, including groceries.
Assistance with meal preparation, if needed.
Companionship.
Respite for the caregiver, if needed.
Maintaining appropriate boundaries with clients and their families.
Observing, reporting, and recording any change in a client’s condition or home environment.
Maintaining a consistent client schedule and immediately contacting clients and the supervisor regarding absences.
Qualifications
Qualified candidates should be thorough, efficient, and able to work independently.
Applicants must be able to perform housekeeping, laundry, and cleaning tasks.
Applicants must be able to maintain accurate records.
Candidates must be friendly and demonstrate a caring attitude at all times.
Reliable transportation is required, with the ability to serve clients in north Ottawa County. A valid Michigan driver’s license and car insurance are required.
Must be able to lift and/or move at least 10 pounds.
General Responsibilities
Attend periodic in-services, professional conferences, meetings, and seminars, and represent the agency on committees as assigned.
Work as part of a team.
Maintain confidentiality.
Maintain monthly reporting and documenting requirements.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
