Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Evening Shift Nurse to join our team. This position is responsible for overseeing and delivering efficient, high-quality nursing care to residents during the 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM shift. The Evening Shift Nurse will supervise and support CNAs, ensuring residents receive consistent, timely, and compassionate care. This role requires strong clinical judgment, effective communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform resident assessments and monitor for changes in condition
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation
- Supervise and support CNAs
- Respond to call lights and resident needs promptly
- Communicate with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary team
- Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers
- Maintain compliance with all facility policies and regulations
Qualifications:
- Current, active LVN/LPN or RN license in good standing
- Previous skilled nursing experience preferred
- Strong assessment and clinical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
