Role Description
This is a contract-based remote role for an HBP Title/Due Diligence Landman with experience running and examining title in the East Texas/Haynesville basin. The Landman will be responsible for conducting due diligence, reviewing and preparing title documentation, ensuring proper leasehold ownership, interpreting property and asset information, and resolving title issues related to oil and gas properties. Additional responsibilities include conducting mineral ownership research, analyzing historical records, and collaborating with team members to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory and legal standards.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Title Research, Title Examination, and Due Diligence within the oil and gas industry
- Proficiency in interpreting land and mineral ownership records such as deeds, leases, contracts, and other legal documents
- Knowledge of HBP (Held By Production) title analytics in the East Texas/Haynesville basin
- Extensive knowledge of federal, state, and local land and mineral laws and regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail, thorough analytical abilities, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting and meet deadlines effectively
- Proficiency in land management systems and other industry-relevant software
Pay: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
