Position Overview:
BayCare Medical Group is seeking a skilled and compassionate Orthopedic Surgeon to join our expanding orthopedic service line across Bartow Regional Medical Center and Winter Haven Hospital, two key facilities providing high-quality, patient-centered care in central Florida.
The Orthopedic Surgeon will provide high-quality surgical and nonsurgical orthopedic care across both hospital campuses. This role involves managing a wide spectrum of musculoskeletal conditions, participating in operative and non‑operative care, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities

Provide orthopedic evaluation, diagnosis, and surgical treatment for a variety of musculoskeletal conditions.

Perform elective and emergent orthopedic procedures including fracture repair, joint replacement, arthroscopy, and soft-tissue procedures.

Participate in shared call rotation between Bartow Regional and Winter Haven Hospital.

Collaborate with advanced practice providers, therapists, and hospital staff to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care.

Contribute to quality initiatives, clinical protocols, and performance improvement activities.

Engage in community and patient education as needed.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record systems.
Qualifications:
Qualifications

MD or DO from accredited institution.

Board certified or board eligible in Orthopedic Surgery.

Active or eligible Florida medical license.

Subspecialty interest welcome.
