Quality Technician II to help ensure products meet customer specifications, support production teams, and drive continuous improvement throughout the manufacturing process.
What You'll Do
- Perform inspections on incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products.
- Complete first article inspections (FAIs), PPAP inspections, and dimensional checks.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T requirements.
- Verify products meet customer specifications before shipment.
- Investigate quality issues and work with production to resolve concerns.
- Collect and analyze quality data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
- Conduct internal process and product audits to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Prioritize inspection activities to support production schedules.
- Train and mentor team members on inspection techniques and quality procedures.
- Maintain accurate inspection records and quality documentation.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience using precision measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other inspection tools.
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret GD&T.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable working with Microsoft Office and other business software.
- Associate degree in a related field preferred.
- ASQ Certified Quality Technician (CQT) certification is a plus.
