About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Forklift / Warehouse Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate has previous warehouse experience, strong forklift operating skills, and a commitment to maintaining an efficient and organized work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
- Load, unload, move, stack, and stage products and materials.
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts.
- Organize warehouse space and ensure products are stored properly.
- Follow all workplace safety policies and procedures.
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Work collaboratively with warehouse, shipping, and production teams.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of forklift operating experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification.
- Experience with sit-down, stand-up, reach truck, or pallet jack equipment preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic computer and inventory management experience is an asset.
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
