Job Summary

- Monitor equipment performance, troubleshoot mechanical issues, and coordinate maintenance activities to minimize downtime
- Enforce proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and promote a safety-first culture among staff
- Ensure all manufacturing activities comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) for quality assurance
- Oversee inventory levels, raw material usage, and waste reduction initiatives to optimize resource utilization
- Lead continuous improvement projects by analyzing production metrics and implementing process enhancements
- Conduct regular safety audits, risk assessments, and training sessions to maintain a safe working environment
- Collaborate with quality assurance teams to uphold product standards and resolve any production discrepancies
Experience
- Proven experience in manufacturing or production management within a fast-paced environment
- Strong mechanical knowledge to understand equipment operation and troubleshooting procedures
- Familiarity with safety standards in production settings, including PPE use and hazard mitigation strategies
- Knowledge of GMP regulations applicable to manufacturing processes
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively, motivate staff, and foster a collaborative work environment
- Experience managing heavy lifting operations safely and efficiently is preferred
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks under pressure
