Position Summary:
This is a responsible position involving the regulation of traffic to permit the safe conduct of school children across streets at intersections and crosswalks in the vicinity of public and private schools. The work is performed on a part-time basis, during morning and afternoon hours when children are going to and coming from school and on weekends or evenings when there are scheduled school activities.
Key Responsibilities:
· Regulate traffic to allow safe crossing for children.
· Work during the morning (6:30am – 8:00am) and afternoon (1:30pm – 3:00pm) school hours.
· Assist during scheduled school activities on weekends or evenings.
