POSITION OVERVIEW
The Executive Assistant to the Senior Pastor’s position provides executive assistance, office management, administrative, and personal support to the Senior Pastor. These services extend to the office’s responsibilities of the Pastor’s role as Chief Executive of the Potter’s House CDC and Mount Moriah Enterprises. This position serves as the principal liaison between the Sr. Pastor and the external and internal customers.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Manage and coordinate the Senior Pastor’s office, including Mount Moriah Enterprises and the Potter’s House CDC
- Supervise or coordinate with administrative support staff
- Supervise or coordinate Volunteers
- Schedule appointments and manage all communication with the Senior Pastor’s Office, Speaking and Consulting requests in association with SFI/PL
- Maintain master calendar
- Manage and maintain the Senior Pastor’s schedule
- Manage Special Projects such as the Pastor’s Anniversary
- Handle travel and/or accommodation arrangements
- Perform basic office management, including communication and follow-up with internal and external constituencies
- Plan staff, training, and other meetings
- Serve as Project Manager and oversee special projects
- Facilitate the Sr. Pastor’s services and ministries via Social Media
- Coordinate MMC’s online church promotion and assist the Pastor in providing Pastoral leadership to the online church
- Create content for MMC’s social media-Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, etc.
- Record and maintain records of meetings
- Coordinate meetings with the MMC Board of Directors, Mount Moriah Enterprises Board, Potters House Community Development Center’s Board, Ministers & Division Directors
- Compile data and prepare papers for distribution and presentation by the Senior Pastor
- Conduct research in preparation for meetings and speeches
- Interpret administrative and operating policies and procedures for administration and general church
- Meet with Division Directors and administrative staff on behalf of the Senior Pastor
- Facilitate and review the structure and use of various modes of communications (in coordination with staff) using newsletters, visitor cards, mail-outs, Realm, etc., for timely communication
- Maintain privacy requirements by not sharing personal, financial, or credit information about members or visitors, including but not limited to phone numbers, addresses, program participation, financial information, or personal situations
- Perform other duties as assigned
Pay: $35,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
