The Credit Recovery Principal is responsible for the overall leadership and management of the Credit
Recovery Program (CRP), ensuring that students receive consistent academic, behavioral, and operational
support in a structured, student-centered environment. This role leads the day-to-day operations of the
program while maintaining a strong focus on student progress, staff accountability, compliance, and
continuous improvement. The principal supports systems that support credit attainment, student
engagement, and successful pathways toward graduation.
Qualifications:

Master's Degree

Principal Certification
-
Minimum of 5 years teaching experience

Minimum of 3 years with leadership experience

Bilingual (preferred but not required)

Ability to work some evenings and weekends

Oral and written communication skills

Valid Arizona driver's license and drive an automobile

Valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card

Ability to build relationships with students, families, and staff

Organization and data tracking skills

Ability to maintain confidentiality (FERPA)
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day operations of the Credit Recovery Program, including student scheduling,

attendance monitoring, enrollment, safety, family communication, and coordination of student services.

Supervise and support teachers, registrars, reception staff, outreach personnel, and support teams to ensure consistent implementation of program procedures.

Monitor student credit completion, attendance, engagement, and progress toward graduation, while identifying barriers and coordinating timely interventions.
