Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vehicle maintenance and repair, particularly with diesel engines. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can work independently and as part of a team to ensure that all diesel vehicles are operating efficiently and safely.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, including inspections, diagnostics, and troubleshooting.
- Conduct heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with vehicle repairs and maintenance.
- Assemble and disassemble engine components as needed for repairs.
- Align wheels and perform other adjustments to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
- Maintain accurate records of service performed on each vehicle.
- Collaborate with other service technicians to diagnose complex issues and implement effective solutions.
- Utilize soldering techniques for electrical repairs when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations while working in the shop environment.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of diesel repair practices, particularly related to diesel engines.
- Familiarity with vehicle maintenance procedures and diagnostic tools.
- Ability to dig into complex mechanical issues and provide effective solutions.
- Experience in heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks is essential.
- Certification or training in Diesel technology or a related field is a plus.

Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
