Pelican Int’l is a growing wholesale distributor specializing in kitchen, bath, flooring, and surface products. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Administrative & Accounts Receivable Coordinator to join our team and support the daily financial and administrative operations of our company.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, takes ownership of their responsibilities, and thrives on keeping processes organized and accurate. The successful candidate will work closely with leadership, vendors, customers, and internal teams to ensure smooth financial operations and administrative support.
Responsibilities
Accounts Receivable & Customer Accounts
- Process customer payments and maintain accurate account records
- Assist with customer account reconciliation
- Monitor outstanding balances and assist with collections efforts
- Research and resolve billing discrepancies
- Communicate professionally with customers regarding account inquiries
Administrative Support
- Provide administrative support to leadership and internal departments
- Maintain organized company documentation and records
- Assist with reporting, data entry, and operational tracking
- Support office processes to improve efficiency and organization
- Coordinate communications between departments when needed
- Assist with special projects and company initiatives
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, bookkeeping, or administrative accounting
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
- Experience with accounting software or ERP systems preferred
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating with a team
- Professional, dependable, and solutions-oriented attitude
