Job Title: Driver-Class A CDL
Location: Omaha, NE
Reports To: Yard Manager
Pay Range: $26.50 – $28.00 per hour
Hiring Bonus: $1,500
About the Role
We are seeking a dependable, safety-focused Class A CDL Driver to join our team. This full-time position primarily involves local deliveries, allowing you to be home every night.
This role is responsible for delivering materials to customer job sites and supporting overall yard operations. Drivers play a critical role in ensuring safe, accurate, and timely delivery while representing the company with professionalism and strong customer service.
This position offers a consistent, predictable work environment with a focus on safety, stability, and long-term employment.
Purpose & Expectations
The Driver is responsible for transporting materials safely and efficiently while supporting customer service and operational needs. This role requires adherence to all company procedures, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Delivery Responsibilities
- Review and secure materials prior to departure
- Deliver loads as directed by dispatch or Yard Manager
- Communicate delivery updates, delays, or issues promptly
- Ensure accurate paperwork completion and required signatures
- Verify proper placement of materials at job sites
Safety Responsibilities
- Operate all vehicles in a safe and compliant manner
- Follow all company and DOT safety requirements
- Report incidents, damages, or hazards immediately
- Assess job sites and plan safe unloading practices
Vehicle & Equipment
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report issues
- Maintain clean, organized, and professional equipment
- Complete fuel and usage records as required
Yard & Operational Support
- Support yard operations including loading and material handling
- Assist with staging, organization, and cleanliness
- Operate equipment such as forklifts when trained and authorized
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- Clean driving record
- Experience operating commercial delivery vehicles
- Forklift experience preferred
- Ability to safely lift and maneuver materials up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to safety, detail, and customer service
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Hiring Bonus
