Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide attentive service throughout their visit
- Take customer orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Process cash and card transactions efficiently while ensuring correct change and receipts
- Assist in food preparation and food handling to support kitchen staff and ensure quality standards
- Upsell menu items and promote specials to maximize sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment in compliance with food safety standards
- Manage food service customer order management, including serving, bussing tables, and sanitation duties
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently to support food production needs
- Handle retail sales transactions when applicable, including grocery or retail store experience tasks
- Ensure a safe, organized, and sanitized workspace at all times by following sanitation protocols
Qualifications
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments preferred but not required; training provided
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
- Strong food handling knowledge and understanding of food safety management practices
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively during busy periods
- Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
- Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately and managing retail math tasks
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and maintain a clean workspace according to sanitation standards
- Food preparation experience or culinary background is a plus but not mandatory
- Retail or grocery store experience can be advantageous for certain roles within the team
