Schedule: Monday to Friday 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM with overtime required throughout the week and occasionally on Saturday's based on business needs.

Responsibilities of the Sheet Metal Welder/Fabricator:
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately measure, cut, and shape stainless steel parts
- Use hand tools and measuring instruments like calipers, tape measures, and squares to ensure precise fabrication
- Operate power tools such as grinders, drills, and shears to complete detailed metalwork
- Work with press brake machinery to bend and form stainless steel components with accuracy
- Utilize TIG welding techniques to join stainless steel parts, ensuring strong, high-quality welds
- Assemble sheet metal components for welding and finishing processes
- Inspect finished products for quality, accuracy, and adherence to specifications
- Manage raw materials efficiently while maintaining an organized workspace
- Collaborate closely with team members, including fabricators, welders, and project managers to ensure smooth project flow
Requirements of the Sheet Metal Welder/Fabricator:
- 1-2 years of experience in sheet metal detailing or fabrication, particularly with stainless steel
- Experience with press brake bending and forming stainless steel is preferred
- Proficiency with TIG welding stainless steel
- Strong basic math skills for precise measurements and layouts
- Comfortable using hand tools and measuring instruments
- Knowledge of cutting, bending, and forming metal fabrication techniques
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work within tight tolerances
- Strong organizational skills and a commitment to quality
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and handle intricate tasks with manual dexterity
- High school diploma or equivalent
Compensation for the Sheet Metal Welder/Fabricator:
- Temp: $23/hour
- Upon Hire: Rates increase to $24.00 per hour for fabrication/finishing roles and to $25.50 per hour upon successful completion of onboarding and conversion to full-time status. In addition, employees receive a $0.25 raise every 30 days for the first three months, with projected first-year earnings ranging from approximately $24.74 to $26.25 per hour.
