Employees assigned to public works projects may be eligible for higher compensation through applicable prevailing wage classifications based on project location, scope, and county requirements.

Broadscope Solutions is actively seeking dependable, motivated, and safety-focused Coating Application Specialists / Blasters to join our growing team.
If you have experience with abrasive blasting, industrial coatings, spray application, surface preparation, industrial painting, or construction-related work, we want to hear from you.
This position supports commercial, industrial, infrastructure, and public works projects throughout Washington State. We are looking for individuals who take pride in quality workmanship, show up ready to work, maintain a strong safety mindset, and contribute positively to a team environment.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Perform abrasive blasting operations
- Prepare steel, concrete, masonry, and other surfaces for coating application
- Apply industrial coatings using airless spray, conventional spray, brush, and roller methods
- Assist with containment setup and removal
- Perform masking, covering, and protection of adjacent surfaces
- Follow project specifications and coating manufacturer requirements
- Operate blasting and coating equipment safely and efficiently
- Assist with equipment maintenance and material staging
- Complete touch-up work and punch-list items
- Maintain clean and organized work areas
- Participate in daily safety meetings and jobsite briefings
- Follow OSHA, company, and project-specific safety requirements

Preferred Experience
- Abrasive blasting experience
- Industrial coating application experience
- Industrial painting experience
- Surface preparation experience
- Construction or industrial maintenance experience
Preferred Certifications
- C7 Abrasive Blaster Certification Preferred
- C12 Spray Application Certification Preferred
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Preferred
- Respirator Fit Test Certification Preferred
- Forklift Certification Preferred

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to climb ladders and scaffolding
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, crouch, and reach throughout the workday
- Ability to wear respirators and required personal protective equipment
- Ability to work in physically demanding environments
